1. INSIGHT

When waking up, I usually read first some insights from old or new testament before I get up from bed.

    Here’s one from Leviticus.

Since from the old times, people then brings sacrifices to pay or atone for their inadequacies. Hundreds of animals were gathered to woods of fire as a sacrifice offering. Offerings fell into 3 broad types.

1st, The guilt and sin offerings: they cleansed people from sin.

2nd, The burnt offerings: whole animals were burnt to ashes.

3rd and final was the fellowship offering: a family meal shared in the presence of God.

The sequence of the offerings- forgiveness of sins, then total dedication, then fellowship-it shows that their goal was fellowship with God. To reach that goal, forgiveness of sin and complete dedication to God were necessary.

    Can an animal really pay?

How can killing a goat make things right between God and people? Is the sacrifice of an animal really enough to pay for our mistakes? Many people felt that sacrifice was needed to appease God. Many religions around the world still sacrifice today.

Me as a christian these sacrifices seem outmoded primarily because one great sacrifice—-that of God’s own son—-outdid them all. God doesn’t require sacrifice. We don’t have to pay the cost. Jesus paid it all. All we should have to do is to remember His greatness and follow His words full heartedly.

But every people has its own beliefs and its way for doing sacrifice and I do respect that.

    Have a blessed day everyone!

  10. WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

My earliest human memory was when i was 5 years old. I told my mother to draw a house in a piece of paper and then she drew a “bahay Kubo”, Then i made a grimace and answered irritatedly “hindi ganyan, ayoko nian panget naman ng drawing mo eh.Gusto ko ganito oh….” then i drew a concrete house, with 2 windows, 1 door and with flowers sorrounding on it. And then she answered back  ” Oh! Kaya mo naman pala eh!” LOL!
